Today I purchased a razor at the Fell's Point Antique Show. It was made in 1904. It still uses the same Gillette razor blades they make today, works very well and I have every intent of using it. The case is a maroon velvet interior that did not show up well on the scan. The razor itself breaks apart into three pieces in order to insert the blade and it has a small metal case to hold additional blades. I also was pleased that I negotiated a reduction in the asking price by 25%. novacula was my brother's handle on AOL. It is the latin word for Razor. |
